Not long ago I came across an online test: 'What's your brand archetype?' I could never resist a good ‘What type of butter bread are you’ test, so of course I took it. I was surprised when I got my result - and I liked it.
The test labelled me a Creator. I want to bring vision to reality. - Yes I do!
It also says that I derive meaning from bringing structure into chaos. I can make things tangible, better. Innovate. Creating new systems, solutions or processes is my secret weapon. - You got it 10/10, brand archetype test! This is basically my business summed up!
HOW DID I GET HERE?
I entered the field with a deep dive and started my own company, a nice little brunch place at a time when brunch was still a risky move in Budapest.
There was a lot of 'learning-by-doing' involved, but with very a successful result - and I still love disruptive solutions.
Ever since selling the brunch place, I broadened my knowledge on the theoretical background. I did tons of courses, including User Experience design and an MBA.
Creating my business from scratch felt so natural to me. Still, for a very long time I couldn’t decide which was my calling: design, business or women’s empowerment. Then I realized I could have it all. I could help women create and run their dream businesses with the design mindset and design tools I gathered throughout the years.
I realized that all that adds up to branding. The Captain Planet of my dreams!
RUNNING YOUR OWN BUSINESS IS SOMETIMES NOT AN EASY ROAD
I know how exciting but at the same time frightening it is to be your own boss. I know what it's like to face problems that you never anticipated when starting out.
And in addition to that, you need to deal with a website and social media.
Now that we all look up everything online before giving it a chance, you can’t ignore this problem.
But don’t worry, once you get it right, it will work for you.
We just need to align your products or services with your vision.
AND OUTSIDE BUSINESS?
I love a good walk in a park, going to markets or getting to know different traditions. I’m happiest among plants and flowers, preferably with some food included. I love the idea of a cafe at a park or garden center. Columbia Road Flower Market, flowers, food and live music in one place is my idea of heaven.
My other happy place is at the beach, somewhere sunny and warm. The sound and smell of the sea calms me.
I am a traveller and have lived across Europe, but I always love coming home to see my fur bff! Purr purr purr.
I’m really passionate about women’s empowerment. I've only recently realized the extent of my drive for that cause. I believe in a merit-based system and doing all my best to get closer to achieving it.
